The Race For President

"I wait for no one." You think to yourself as you inform Gellman that you won't be coming back for tomorrow's show.

When you get home, you call your campaign manager and tell him to get you on another show, like maybe a real show this time, such as This Week with David Brinkley, or Larry King Live. After two days of trying everybody, he calls you back with the bad news. He tells you that the only reason any show would have you as a guest is because you were the last person to talk to Bob Dole, and now too much time as gone by, and that is old news. You missed out on your opportunity for your fifteen minutes of fame, and for your run at the presidency.

Depressed, you ask him where all your aunt's money will go to, since now you aren't running for president. He assures you that it will all be donated to her favorite charity, The Association for Retired Black Jack Dealers. The next day you go to 7-11 and ask for a Big Gulp, a lottery ticket, and a job application.
